A strong resume and cover letter can open the door to new opportunities, but knowing where to start is not always easy. On May 2, 2026, we hosted a Resume & Cover Letter Workshop to help community members build confidence in their job search and strengthen the way they present their skills, experience, and goals to employers.
The session offered practical guidance on creating professional resumes, avoiding common mistakes, understanding key resume sections, and writing cover letters tailored to specific job opportunities. Participants also had the chance to ask questions and receive guidance based on their own experiences and goals.
At HMF, we believe employment readiness is about more than preparing documents. It is about helping people recognize their strengths, tell their story with confidence, and take meaningful steps toward their future.
