Healthy Muslim Families believes in a society where we all have a high degree of social responsibility towards each other. Our services and programs are designed and developed to strengthen and fortify the family and provides support to those facing challenges.

Online Programs

Due to the restrictions on gatherings all our programs have gone online. Keep checking our social media for upcoming programs.

Financial Empowerment

Money Management and Financial Literacy workshops, Screening for Federal and Provincial Benefits, and no cost Tax Filing.

Art and Culture

To celebrate and promote our culture, HMF brings various art and Islamic Calligraphy programs for children, youth, and adults.

Women support

HMF offers programs for women in the community to support, heal, develop personal skills, and network with other families.

Healthy muslim families is organizing Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED course for women only at HMF Office.

It will be a basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home and how to use an AED.

Participants attending this course will be Canadian Red Cross certified (valid for 3 years).

This training is a great opportunity to learn more about essential financial topics and learn how to better manage your money.
It’s a total of 10 sessions, starting on 11 Oct until 10 Nov, twice a week.
An hour every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 -1:30 pm.

We all have boundaries for the workplace, but what about the place we all consider sacred- the home and our family?

Avoid frustration, resentment, anger and chaos in close relationships by learning about healthy boundaries. Boundaries are a cure for preventing arguments on the same issues repeatedly and strengthening relationships.

Please register for our panel discussion on “Healthy boundaries in relationships”on Sept 15, 2022 at 1.00 p.m. on zoom with two mental health experts from our community.
