It’s Giving Tuesday: How will you give this year?

When you make a contribution to our cause, you are not only helping stop domestic violence, but you are also helping rebuild the lives of these women and their families.

Specifically, your gift will:

✅ Conduct awareness campaigns to immediately break the cycle of abuse
✅ Provide psychosocial counseling services to decrease emotional pain, provide emotional support and help develop plans for coping with their situation
✅ Ensure families and children with special needs have all the resources, education and assistance needed at their fingertips

Humans will always suffer. Conflict will always exist. We can't change the forces that cause the pain, but we can work together to alleviate it.

Heal, Rebuild and Restore Hope Within Families This Giving Tuesday:

In 2007, the Parliament of Canada proclaimed October Canadian Islamic Heritage Month in recognition of the significant contributions the Muslim community has made to Canadian society.

Muslim-Canadians enrich our lives and contribute to the prosperity and heritage of our country through their outstanding achievements in many fields, including literature, mathematics, science, sports and the arts.

This month offers all Canadians a wonderful opportunity to reflect on and learn more about the history of Islam in Canada and the cultural diversity of Canada’s large Muslim community.

We are also conducting our very first Islamic Art Gala on 30th of October. More details here:

Healthy Muslim Families proudly invites you all to our first-ever 'Islamic Art Gala' held in celebration of Islamic Heritage Month Canada.

Today on World Mental Health Day, we can choose to listen to others about their challenges. And, if we feel so inclined, we can also share our stories. Today is a day to drop judgments we may have grown up with or been taught. It is a day dedicated to erasing the stigma. We all deserve to live in the light, and we all can help spread our light! ...

There is a stigma towards mental health issues in all communities and the Muslim community is no exception.

Due to the spread of the coronavirus and the accompanying lockdown, mental health difficulties are on everyone’s agenda.

It’s important to remember that mental illness is a disease that affects so many people. Shedding light on it will help dispel the stigma that surrounds it.

With more people vaccinated in an area, the closer we get to protect the population.

Vaccines are safe. Vaccines work. Be part of the solution!

Are you done with your Covid vaccine shots? Share your photo in the comments!

We’re so proud of the progress we’ve made in the lives of families together, but there’s still so much more to be done.

Like Fiza, you too can volunteer your time to give back to your community and connect with new people.

We believe that by working together, we can accomplish amazing things—and you’re an important part of that equation.

We’d be thrilled to have you onboard and can’t wait to change the world with you!
