Access to practical training and recognized certifications can play an important role in helping women improve their employment prospects and pursue greater economic independence. Recognizing the importance of these opportunities, we organized a Basic Food Handler Certification Training for Women in October, supporting participants in developing skills and qualifications relevant to the food service industry.
The one-day training introduced participants to essential food safety principles, proper food handling and workplace hygiene practices, as well as industry standards and regulatory requirements. The course concluded with a same-day certification exam, with successful participants eligible to receive a Food Handler Certificate valid for five years.
Food handler certification can be a valuable qualification for women interested in pursuing employment in restaurants, catering services, commercial kitchens, and other food-related businesses.
We congratulate all participants on completing the training and extends its appreciation to the instructor for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
Through initiatives such as this, we continue to support women’s skill development, employability, and pathways toward greater economic independence.
